Government have launched an urgent major review of the Licensing Act 2003
The current Government has launched a major review of the Licensing Act 2003.
It is anticipate this is to bring up to date necessary changes including the streamlining of the current system implemented for alcohol, entertainment, and late-night refreshment.
Referred to as the Red Tape Review it appears to be aimed at reducing unnecessary, regulatory burdens, support economic growth, and enhance cultural and community life across England and Wales.

- Statutory Notice Requirements
- Outdoor Trading and Pavement Licences
- Temporary Event Notices (TENs)
- Blanket Policies and Core Hours
- Evidence and Data Protocol
- Festivals and Events
- Agent of Change Principle
- Hospitality, Leisure & Cultural Zones
- Impacts – Crime, Public Health, Local Authorities, Equality
